University of Central Punjab Celebrates Azka Hassan’s Academic and Leadership Achievements

Lahore, At the 26th Convocation of the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Azka Hassan was honored with the Roll of Honour, recognizing her remarkable academic journey and contributions to the university community. She graduated with a CGPA of 3.97 in BS Microbiology and has been actively involved in cross-cultural initiatives and leadership roles.

According to University of Central Punjab, Azka was selected for the prestigious UGRAD Semester Exchange Program in the Fall of 2022, which is fully funded by the US Government. Her selection was based on her outstanding academic record, leadership potential, and dedication to fostering cross-cultural understanding. During her exchange at West Virginia University in the United States, she continued her streak of excellence by securing a place on the Dean’s Honor List.

Azka’s academic prowess was further recognized through a fully-funded scholarship awarded by UCP, and she went on to earn a gold medal for achieving the highest academic standing in her graduating batch. Her role as President of the Society of Life Sciences at UCP allowed her to lead student-centered initiatives focusing on health, food safety, and other critical issues, positively impacting over 20,000 students and staff members.

Her extensive involvement in community service, cultural ambassadorship, and extracurricular activities, combined with her international experiences, underscore the holistic approach she has taken to her education and leadership. This well-rounded engagement is what led to Azka Hassan receiving the prestigious Roll of Honor Award at UCP’s convocation ceremony.
