Lahore, September 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):Councillors Chaudhry Tauqeer Ashraf Gujjar and Rai Umar Farooq Kharal, who were elected independently from Sargodha Cantonment called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi and General Secretary PML Punjab Senator Kamil Ali Agha under the leadership of Vice President Chaudhry Sarfraz Gondal and announced to join Pakistan Muslim League. The delegation also included Rai Shah Nawaz Kharal, Haji Zahid Akhtar and Faisal Ghman.
Welcoming those joining the party, Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi said that our first priority is to solve the problems of the common man at their doorstep. The local government system should be such that it benefits the common man at the grassroots level, it will be effective in reducing basic public problems. He said that the prosperity of the society depends on the provision of basic amenities to the people.
On this occasion, Ch Tauqeer Ashraf said that we appreciate the leadership abilities of Chaudhry Shujat Hussain. Pakistan Muslim League has always fought for the rights of common man. The era of Ch Parvez Elahi as the Chief Minister is a living example of this, people still remember this era.
