Lahore, The ambassador of Thailand, Chakkrid Kraichaiwong, recently visited Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore to attend the first T20 match of the series between Pakistan Women A and Thailand Women Emerging. His visit underscores the growing international interest in Pakistan’s cricket, particularly in women’s sports.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Ambassador Kraichaiwong met with Mr. Zaka Ashraf, the Chairman of the PCB Management Committee, following the match. During their meeting, the ambassador commended the PCB for its efforts to promote women’s cricket in Pakistan. He expressed appreciation for the PCB’s hospitality and emphasized the potential for increased cooperation between Thailand and Pakistan in the realm of cricket.
Thailand Women Emerging is scheduled to play their second and final T20 against Pakistan Women A tomorrow. This visit and match are part of a broader engagement, as the Thailand team previously participated in a T20 tri-nation series that also featured West Indies Women A.
