Lahore, February 15, 2023 (PPI-OT):Former Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi was met by a political and legal team. Former Law Minister Basharat Raja, Nadir Duggal Advocate, former Bar President Asim Cheema, Zulfiqar Ghuman Advocate, Safdar Hayat Bosal, former Bar President Sikandar Hayat, Sarmad Ghani Chatta and Tayyab. Usman Randhawa attended the meeting. In the meeting, expressing reservations on the governor not giving the election date, former chief minister Ch Parvez Elahi raised constitutional questions before the governor of Punjab.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that the position of the Governor of Punjab is that he did not sign the advice of dissolution of the assembly, so he will not give the date. Governor should tell that when he did not sign the dissolution of the assembly, then under what authority did he form the caretaker government? How did the governor write consultation letters to the chief minister and the opposition leader for the care-taker setup?

In what capacity did the governor write a letter to the speaker to form a parliamentary committee, in what capacity did the governor of Punjab take the oath of the care-taker cabinet, the governor of Punjab is running away from the election date after gulping sweets, if the governor does not accept the constitutional responsibility, then the care-taker setup established by him will also be unconstitutional, when the governor is dissociating himself from the dissolution of the assembly and not giving a date, then the constitutional process has not progressed, the care-taker setup has been established after this action of the governor, all the actions of care-taker setup are also illegal, cases should be filed against the care-taker setup for illegal actions.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that those who take steps beyond the constitution should be prepared to face action under Article 6. The nation will not tolerate any attempt to violate the constitution. Governor Punjab and Election Commission should know that violation of the constitution is accountable. Ch Parvez Elahi said that out of fear of Imran Khan, PDM and its allies have come to subvert the constitution, the election after the dissolution of the assembly is a constitutional fact, the governor or the election commission cannot run away from it, the judiciary will not allow any attempt to subvert the constitution, lawyers and bar associations will also stop the way of breaking the constitution.

Lahore, February 14, 2023 (PPI-OT):Overseas Pakistanis Umar Aslam Shah and Sajal Aslam called on former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi. Ch Parvez Elahi praised the role of overseas Pakistanis for the development of the country.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that overseas Pakistanis are playing an important role in improving the country’s economy and the image of the country, Tehreek-e-Insaaf and Pakistan Muslim League have always raised their voices on the problems of overseas Pakistanis.

He said that currently Pakistan is facing a difficult situation due to incompetent rulers, the economy of Pakistan has been badly destroyed by the so-called experienced people, and all the so-called experience of Shahbaz Sharif is limited to foreign visits only, the ruling people. They are also unable to provide relief to the people and they are not interested in the problems of Overseas Pakistanis.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that overseas Pakistanis should play a decisive role in the general elections through their votes, only Imran Khan can bring the country out of its problems and create political and economic stability.

Lahore, February 13, 2023 (PPI-OT):Former Federal Minister for Defense Parvez Khattak met with former Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi. Bao Rizwan and Hafiz Mumtaz also participated in the meeting. In the meeting, political situation and Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa elections were discussed.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that there is no justification for delaying the date of the election after the court decision, the judiciary stands with the supremacy of the constitution, violation of the constitution will not be tolerated, and the election commission should release the schedule of the immediate election while fulfilling its responsibility. The Governor and Election Commission should stop playing football on the issue of election date. Ch Parvez Elahi said that the nation is seeing how PDM is afraid of the election, no one will be allowed to violate the constitution.

Former Federal Minister of Defense Parvez Khattak said that the popularity of Imran Khan has made the ruler sleepless. It is the constitutional responsibility of the Election Commission and the governors to schedule the election. All the retaliation actions and the cases cannot stop the pathway of Tehreek-e-Insaf.

Lahore, February 13, 2023 (PPI-OT):The Gujranwala Special Anti-Terrorism Court and Gujrat Sessions Court have extended the interim bail of National Assembly candidate Chaudhry Musa Elahi till February 23 in different cases. A case has been registered against Chaudhry Musa Elahi and former federal minister Chaudhry Wajahat Hussain in Karianwala police station.

Later speaking to the media along with Barrister Salman Safdar Advocate, Ch Musa Elahi said that our political opponents have accused us of firing on the PML-N leader through an advertisement, at which time they filed a case against me and my father, we were at our residence in Lahore at that time.
He said that we are not afraid of reprisals, we only hope for justice from the courts and will fight the retaliations, the actions of the rulers will strengthen our intentions.

He said that the caretaker government should not delay the election, the people know it, whatever they want, and we have faith in our courts that the election will be held on time. He said that including terrorism provisions in political cases is condemnable.

Lahore, February 11, 2023 (PPI-OT):Former Chief Minister Punjab Ch Parvez Elahi has said that Insha-Allah victory of Imran Khan in the electoral field of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is sure, the nation should prepare for the election, verdict has to be given against incompetent gang of PDM with power of the vote, Tehrik-e-Insaaf and Pakistan Muslim League candidates should formally take charge of the election campaign.

In a statement issued here today (Saturday), he said that the Lahore High Court judgment has given a message of ensuring supremacy of the Constitution, there should be no delay in the electoral process after the Lahore High Court verdict. He said that revenge will be taken through power of the vote from Shehbaz Sharif who has ruined the country economically, N-League as not learnt any lesson from the past, today once the country has been made centre of vengeful activities, the caretaker setup should come to its senses, acts of victimizations cannot lessen the popularity of Imran Khan.

Ch Parvez Elahi said that Imran Khan is the most popular leader of the country and has the capability to deliver for the nation, only Imran Khan can bring political and economic stability in the country. He further said that the present rulers are only worried about relief in their cases, even the vengeful activities against the political opponents cannot save PDM leadership politically, Insha-Allah, election activities will commence in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa from next week.
