Karachi, October 10, 2021 (PPI-OT): Dear Parents,
In pursuance of the recent Government announcement, Dawood Public School will resume physical classes at 100% student strength for Grades I – X from Monday October 11, 2021 (Grade XI after CAIE examinations). Please note that all students will attend School for five days Monday-Friday. We request the parents and students to continue to follow the time staggers specified below:
Arrival plan from designated gates is as follows:
Class – Arrival Time – Gate
Pre-Nursery – 9:00 a.m. till 9:25 a.m. – B
Nursery, KGI and KGII (morning shift) – 8:00 a.m. till 8:25 a.m. – B
KG I and KG II (afternoon shift) – 11:00 a.m. till 11:25 – B
I and II – 9:00 a.m. till 9:25 a.m. – A
III, IV, V, VI and VII – 8:15 a.m. till 8:40 a.m. – A/B
VIII-XI – 7:30 am till 7:55 am – A/B
Gate C to be used for arrival and departure for all students using vans.

Parents and students should continue to follow the prescribed Standard Operating Procedures sent earlier and uploaded on our website. Students must wear a mask throughout the school day and maintain social distancing.
Please note that the Government expects all students above 12 to be at least partially vaccinated by October 31, 2021. Beyond which School will be forced not to allow students on campus. Additionally, we request both parents also to get themselves vaccinated and submit records to a previously created ‘assignment’ by their child’s class teacher on Google Classroom, both parents should also be fully vaccinated by October 31, 2021. Kindly note that unvaccinated parents will not be allowed access to the school premises.
We hope to go back to our pre-COVID timings subject to low positivity rates. This will cause a change in the timetable, and we will communicate the same in due course of time.
Kindly be reminded of the following salient points:
Students must be attired in complete School uniform, carry the ID card in person and wear a mask (keep an extra mask in their bag).
Temperature will be checked while students remain seated on the left side of the car – parents are requested not to disembark and follow the guidance of security staff on the road to ensure smooth traffic flow.
Students’ hands will be sanitized upon entrance to school gates, but they must carry a personal sanitizer for frequent use.
Students who are part of a household where a member has Covid-19 or is diagnosed with it themselves must inform the school immediately and isolate themselves for the prescribed period. Subsequently on producing a negative PCR students will be accommodated back on campus. During the isolation period, it is the responsibility of the child to complete all assignments/homework.
Students must bring light snacks and water to be consumed during the 15-minute break.
Time staggers have been established to avoid overcrowding at the gates. Parents are requested to cooperate with the school, adhere to the allotted timings and not drop their child early.
