RDC and University of Karachi Conduct Islamic Training Program

Karachi: The Regional Dawah Center (RDC), in partnership with the University of Karachi, held a one-day Islamic training program attended by 47 BS students from the Department of Islamic Studies. The workshop focused on “The Prophetic Method of Dawah,” aiming to enhance the understanding and practices of Islamic Dawah among students.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, Dr. Hafiz Abdul Samad, Program Coordinator of RDC (Sindh), in his inaugural address, detailed the longstanding efforts of the Dawah Academy in conducting Islamic educational programs. The academy has orchestrated 307 such events over the past 22 years, benefiting over 15,000 individuals across various sectors.

Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rehman, in charge of RDC (Sindh), led the main lecture, discussing the phases of Dawah and emphasizing the societal and state-level responsibilities in propagating Islamic teachings.

The program concluded with remarks from Dr. Zahid Ali Zahidi, Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies at the University of Karachi and the event’s chief guest. He praised the participants’ engagement and urged continual involvement in RDC’s initiatives, which he described as beneficial for the community.

Dr. Atif Aslam Rao from the Department of Islamic Learning expressed gratitude towards the attendees and the RDC, reaffirming the commitment to future collaborations. The ceremony ended with Dr. Syed Aziz ur Rehman presenting a commemorative shield to Dean Zahidi on behalf of RDC.
