Lahore, January 31, 2022 (PPI-OT):A delegation led by Pakistan Education Council President Mian Imran Masood and former provincial education minister called on Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in the Assembly Chamber. During the meeting, it was discussed about the problems faced by the private schools due to Corona and the inattention of the government and their assistance in improving the quality of education. Mian Imran Masood gave a comprehensive briefing to the Speaker Punjab Assembly regarding private schools.
Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi said that quality education is the right of every child of the country and public and private educational institutions should work together to increase the literacy rate and fulfill the dream of achieving quality education. Ch Parvez Elahi said that private schools are cooperating with the government in the pursuit of education, the problems of Pakistan Education Council will be solved on priority basis.
Mian Imran Masood paid homage to the educational projects of Ch Parvez Elahi era, especially “Parha Likha Punjab”. Hamesh Khan, Kashar Rashid, Zainab Qureshi, Mrs. Anjum, Sultan Bukhari, Dr. Farzana, Mrs. Salamat, DG Parliamentary Affairs Punjab Assembly Inayatullah Luk and Secretary Coordination Rai Mumtaz Hussain Babar were also present in the meeting.
