Lahore, The Institute of Social and Cultural Studies at the University of Punjab successfully conducted the public defense and viva voce examination for Ph.D. candidate Mr. Atta Ur Rehman. The scholar presented his dissertation on the health-related quality of life among Afghan refugees in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, contributing to the growing body of research on displaced populations.

According to University of The Punjab, Mr. Rehman’s defense took place on March 29, 2024, where he detailed his “Assessment of Factors Associated with Health-Related Quality of Life Among Afghan Refugees in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.” The defense session was open to interested faculty members, scholars, and students who were invited to attend and engage with the research findings.
