Lahore, 14 Oct 2023: The University of Punjab has awarded ten scholars with PhD degrees in a range of academic subjects, as announced in a recent press release.

Among the recipients, Sadia Kanwal earned her PhD in High Energy Physics, while Gu Zong has been recognized for his research in History. Rabiah Sherwani achieved her doctorate in Home Economics focusing on Food and Nutrition. Qurrat Ul Ain Shafique specialized in Biochemistry, and Khurran has been awarded in the field of Geometics.

Furthermore, Faqeeha Javed and Maryam Azam both achieved their doctorates in Molecular Biology. Abid Hussain and Maria Tahir were recognized for their work in Punjabi. Lastly, Nabeela Firdous earned her PhD in Environmental Sciences. Each of these scholars has now joined the ranks of the esteemed PhD holders from the Punjab University.
