Lahore, April 03, 2023 (PPI-OT):Punjab University Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood took over the charge of Acting Vice-Chancellor. Dr Khalid is serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Information and Media Studies at Punjab University. He has also been the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences and the Director of the Institute of Information Management. He has done his post doctorate from University of California, USA and has 30 years of teaching experience.
Dr Khalid is the author of 225 research papers, editor of various research journals and has also been the chairman of PU Ranking Committee. In his message, Acting VC Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood has said that strengthening the structure of teachers and promoting research culture is a priority. He said that steps will be taken to improve the system by solving the administration problems. He said that short-term and long-term plans will be arranged for the development of PU. Dr Khalid was congratulated by teachers, administrative officials and employees and expressed their commitment to work together for the development of the university.
