Lahore, October 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):Institute of Applied Psychology arranged An Online Capacity Building Session with the National Highway and Motorway Police on “Anger Management.” The spokesperson for the talk was Miss. Iqra Nazar; a PhD Scholar and a Senior Health Psychologist at Sheikh Zayd Hospital. She is a Visiting Lecturer at University of the Punjab and University of Lahore as well.
Miss. Iqra talked on various components of anger, the ways to manage anger through psychological techniques such as imagery, positive self-talk and muscle relaxation. She highlighted the triggers and concluded the talk on the importance and advantage of managing anger in a constructive way. The talk ended with the question answer session by the police personnels and closing remarks by IGP.
