ISLAMABAD, Former President of Pakistan and President of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, Asif Ali Zardari, expressed his gratitude to the party’s supporters, also known as Jiyalas, for their victory in the local government by-elections in Sindh. In a statement, President Zardari specifically commended the triumph of the PPP in Karachi, highlighting the city’s vocal support for the party with chants of ‘Jiay Bhutto’.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari paid tribute to the party workers for their efforts in the by-elections. He encouraged every PPP worker to begin the election campaign as ambassadors of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. President Zardari expressed optimism for the upcoming general elections, particularly for the party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, asserting that the PPP is poised to solve the problems faced by the people.
