PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Addresses Historic Jalsa in Mithi, Outlines Vision for Pakistan’s Future

Mithi, Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari addressed a historic Jalsa in Mithi, Tharparkar, announcing ambitious plans for national welfare and expressing confidence in the upcoming general elections. The event highlighted the PPP’s commitment to inclusivity and development.

According to a Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari spoke at the grand Jalsa in Mithi, the headquarters of the Tharparkar district, on Diwali. He extended his greetings to the Hindu community and emphasized the PPP’s stance against discrimination based on color, caste, or creed. The PPP Chairman underlined that the party’s election campaign couldn’t start yet due to the absence of a schedule from the Election Commission of Pakistan but expressed optimism about the party’s victory on February 8, symbolized by ‘Teer’ (the arrow), the PPP’s electoral symbol.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari reiterated the PPP’s manifesto, echoing the legacy of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, with a focus on addressing basic needs and combating inflation, unemployment, and poverty. He emphasized Tharparkar’s significant place in the PPP’s manifesto and narrative, highlighting the district’s transformation under PPP’s governance.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari credited the Thar Coal project’s realization to former President Asif Ali Zardari, fulfilling Shaheed Benazir Bhutto’s vision. He noted that the project had already created employment opportunities for the local population, with more expected as it progresses.

Addressing Pakistan’s economic challenges, the PPP Chairman assured that his party holds the solution, promising to double salaries in five years and fight inflation. He announced plans for launching the Kisan Card and Mazdoor Card for the upliftment of laborers and farmers across Pakistan and emphasized the PPP government’s dedication to these initiatives.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari critiqued PTI for its governance and its impact on national institutions and events like the May 9 tragedy, also challenging other parties imitating PTI’s approach. He called for the defeat of these parties in the forthcoming elections, urging the public to support the PPP for people’s rule in Pakistan.

Prominent PPP leaders, including Sindh President Nisar Ahmad Khuhro, former Chief Ministers Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Syed Murad Ali Shah, along with former ministers, assembly members, and party leaders, were present at the Jalsa.
