PPP Balochistan Leaders Convene with Party’s Women Wing President in Karachi

Karachi, Leaders of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) from Balochistan met with Faryal Talpur, the Central President of PPP’s Women Wing, at Zardari House in Karachi. The meeting focused on political and organizational matters in Balochistan, and preparations for the upcoming PPP Foundation Day Jalsa in Quetta.

According to the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), the delegation, comprising former provincial ministers and other prominent party leaders, expressed their unwavering confidence in the leadership of President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The delegation briefed Faryal Talpur about the arrangements for a grand Jalsa on November 30 in Quetta, anticipated to be a historic event for the party in Balochistan. The provincial leaders committed to uniting efforts to bring Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the Prime Minister’s position and to establish the party’s government in the province.

Faryal Talpur highlighted PPP’s contributions to Balochistan, emphasizing the employment opportunities and developmental projects initiated during the party’s term. She assured the delegation that the PPP government, upon its election, would resume the Balochistan Rights Initiative program introduced by President Asif Ali Zardari. Talpur expressed optimism about the party’s prospects, stating that the upcoming Jalsa in Quetta will be a significant event ahead of the general elections scheduled for February 8, 2024, and a public referendum against the political opponents.
