Karachi, The Punjab Arts Council in Rawalpindi organized a photo exhibition titled ‘Quaid-e-Azam Kay Shab o Rooz’ to mark the 147th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The event featured a display of portraits and rare photographs chronicling the life of Pakistan’s founding father.
According to Punjab Arts Council, the exhibition was graced by Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmad as the chief guest. During his address, Ahmad reflected on the significant role of Quaid-e-Azam in the establishment of Pakistan, emphasizing the two-nation theory as the foundation of his struggle. He pointed out that the present-day challenges faced by Pakistan could be overcome by adhering to Quaid-e-Azam’s teachings, highlighting that the nation’s downfall is partly due to straying from these principles.
Assistant Director Muhammad Suleman also spoke at the event, underlining the importance of following Quaid-e-Azam’s vision in the fields of literature and culture to achieve development. He stressed the need for unity and the application of Quaid-e-Azam’s principles of unity, faith, and discipline to progress.
The exhibition, which attracted a large audience, served as an educational platform for the new generation, enlightening them about Quaid-e-Azam’s life and his contributions to Pakistan’s freedom struggle. The event concluded with the cutting of a birthday cake in honor of Quaid-e-Azam, symbolizing the celebration of his legacy.
