Lahore, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has initiated a tender process for the International Media Rights, encompassing a wide range of formats including broadcast television, digital, audio, web, and mobile platforms. This comprehensive media rights package will cover all international cricket matches hosted by Pakistan from August 2024 to December 2026.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, interested bidders are invited to participate by obtaining the Invitation to Tender (ITT) documents through the PCB’s official bidding channel. The process is set to conclude with the final submission of proposals due by 10 July 2024, followed by a systematic review and opening of technical proposals at the PCB headquarters.
The scheduled cricket matches during this period include a variety of international contests, featuring both the Pakistan Men’s and Women’s teams against numerous global cricketing sides. Highlights from the men’s fixtures include series against prominent teams such as England, South Africa, and Australia, promising a compelling lineup of Test, One-Day International, and Twenty20 matches.
The PCB’s decision to open these rights to a wide array of media platforms indicates a strategic move to enhance the visibility and accessibility of Pakistan cricket worldwide, reflecting a significant opportunity for media companies specializing in sports broadcasting and digital content distribution.
