The party argues that without substantial systemic reforms, neither political nor economic stability can be achieved, leading to severe consequences for the population’s welfare.
According to Pasban Democratic Party, the organization’s spokesperson, Iqbal Hashmi, expressed concerns over the failure of political leaders like Kaleemullah and Samiullah to formulate and maintain a stable economic policy. The statement highlights the ineffectiveness of current political maneuvers, which appear to have left significant segments of the population without viable employment opportunities, forcing many into poverty. Hashmi questions the foundational objectives of Pakistan, criticizing the reliance on charity and Zakat as unsustainable for the Muslim community’s growth.
The statement further criticizes the ruling class for perpetuating a system riddled with corruption and nepotism, which has disrupted the potential for business and economic development.
