Karachi, The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is committed to maintaining peace and improving regional governance in Karachi, As per Deputy Secretary Information for the Karachi Division, Asif Khan. During a recent gathering with party workers at the NA-235 liaison office, Khan detailed the party’s ongoing initiatives and future plans to address local issues through the establishment of new liaison offices.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Asif Khan emphasized that while peace and security are national concerns, Karachi faces unique challenges that the PPP has historically addressed and will continue to tackle. He refuted claims by critics about the party’s handling of Karachi’s security issues, asserting the Sindh government’s active role in peace efforts. The discussion also covered the setup of liaison offices at the Union Council level to directly address and resolve problems such as water, electricity, and gas shortages. Khan noted that under the directives of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the party is effectively utilizing available resources to provide basic amenities, solve public issues, and prioritize urgent development projects in the region.
