Karachi, Maulana Abdul Majid Farooqui, Provincial President of Pakistan Peace Council Sindh and Imam of Jama Masjid Al-Khalil, emphasized the need for the Muslim Ummah to show solidarity with the oppressed, particularly Palestinians and Kashmiris. He advocated for raising the slogan Takbeer and boycotting Zionist products as a means to support these communities.
According to Pakistan Amn Council, during a conversation with social leader Aslam Khan Farooqui at Madrasa Shiqat al-Qur’an, Maulana Farooqui stressed the unity and mutual cooperation of Muslims, likening it to the interconnectedness of a body’s organs. He highlighted the current situation of Palestinians in Gaza and the obligation of the Muslim community to support them. Maulana Farooqui criticized the two-state solution proposal for the Palestinian issue as a conspiracy against Islam, urging the Muslim world to be vigilant against such conspiracies.
He also addressed the role of the caretaker government, accusing it of undermining the ideology of Pakistan under Zionist colonialism’s pressure. Maulana Farooqui asserted that despite these challenges, the sacrifices of their elders would not be in vain, and they would continue to advocate for the true implementation of Pakistan’s ideology.
Maulana Farooqui’s statements reflect a call to action for the Muslim community to actively engage in the struggle against oppression and to remain steadfast in their faith and principles, particularly in the context of global political and social issues affecting Muslims.
