According to Pak NGOs, the PDA has expressed gratitude for the cooperation and support it has received in strengthening civic rights and spaces in previous years. As part of its ongoing efforts, PDA is conducting a survey for the Pakistan Civic Space Monitor 2023 and is encouraging a wide range of participants, including those in networks and alliances, trade unions, media personnel, and bar councils, to contribute by filling out the survey.

The initiative reflects PDA’s commitment to promoting civic rights and spaces in Pakistan. The organization emphasizes the importance of diverse voices and perspectives in understanding and enhancing the civic landscape of the country. By gathering data and insights from a variety of sources, the Pakistan Civic Space Monitor aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of civic rights and spaces in Pakistan.

The survey is available through Survey Monkey, and PDA is encouraging all relevant stakeholders to participate and also circulate the survey within their networks to ensure broad representation and input. The results of this survey are expected to contribute significantly to PDA’s efforts in advocating for stronger civic rights and improved civic spaces in Pakistan.
