NUMS Researcher Shines at International HVACR Conference

LAHORE: The 30th International Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) Conference 2025, held at the Expo Centre in Lahore, served as a platform for experts worldwide to discuss sustainable environments through HVACR technology. Among the contributors was Dr. Muhammad Asghar Khan, a Senior Scientific Officer at the Bioequivalence Centre and Clinical Trial Unit of the National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS).

Dr. Khan participated in the conference as a speaker, expert committee member, and advisory nominee. His presentation focused on optimizing environmental controls in pharmaceutical manufacturing, emphasizing the role of HVAC systems in maintaining compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP), cleanroom classifications, and energy-efficient designs that align with standards from regulatory bodies such as DRAP, WHO, and the FDA.

The involvement of Dr. Khan in the conference not only boosted NUMS’ visibility but also strengthened its ties with key industry and regulatory stakeholders. This participation aligned with the university’s goals of ensuring quality assurance, research excellence, and sustainable development, particularly in health and innovation.

In recognition of his contributions, Dr. Khan received a Certificate of Appreciation and a Shield from the Pakistan HVACR Society’s CPD Program. Additionally, he was granted an Honorary Membership and invited to take on an advisory role for future HVACR-related initiatives.
