MARDAN: A speech competition was held at Women University Mardan on September 3, celebrating the occasion of Rabi-ul-Awwal with a focus on the Seerah and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad. Students from various departments participated, delivering speeches on the Prophet's character and teachings.

According to Women University - Mardan, the speeches were evaluated by Dr. Maryam Noureen and Dr. Farida from the Department of Islamic Studies. Jawariya Fazal from the Department of Zoology secured the first position, followed by Huma Noor from the Department of Political Science in second place, and Ayesha Sahir from the Department of Mathematics in third.

The event concluded with a message emphasizing peace, unity, compassion, tolerance, and brotherhood, along with a special prayer for the peace and prosperity of the Ummah. The Department of Islamic Studies expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor of Women University Mardan for her support, and acknowledged the Head of the Department, Dr. Rashida Parveen, for her guidance. The efforts of faculty members, students, and participants were also appreciated for their role in the event's success.
