National Textile University Advances Quality Assurance with Completion of MS Software Engineering Program Assessment

Faisalabad, National Textile University (NTU) has announced the completion of the latest self-assessment cycle for its Master of Science in Software Engineering program. This initiative is part of the university’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality and relevance of its educational offerings, particularly in the rapidly evolving field of software engineering.

According to National Textile University, the self-assessment was carried out on March 20, 2024, by the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) within the university’s meeting facilities. The Assessment Team (AT), led by Dr. Muhammad Ahmad ur Rehman, Assistant Professor at the Faisalabad Business School and convener of the AT, along with Dr. Toqeer Mahmood and Mr. Muhammad Shahid from the Department of Computer Science, conducted a thorough review of the program. The team assessed the program against the Higher Education Commission’s (HEC) prescribed Self-Assessment Criteria and made several recommendations for enhancements to ensure that the program continues to meet the stringent demands of the field and adheres to the highest academic standards.
