Islamabad, April 27, 2023 (PPI-OT): According to a survey conducted by Gallup and Gilani Pakistan, majority (86%) Pakistanis have given up the intention to buy expensive items like a new care and mobile phone due to the inflation.

A nationally representative sample of adult men and women from across the country, was asked the question “Please think in regards of the following statements and respond with whether inflation has affected your social/home life? – Due to inflation, we have given up the intention to buy expensive items like new car, new and modern mobile phone etc.?” In response, 86% said yes, 12% said no and 2% did not reply or did not respond.
