Lahore, The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) has announced Dr. Tayyaba Tamim as the Dean of the Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Maratib Ali School of Education (SOE), set to begin her tenure on April 1, 2024. Dr. Tamim, with her extensive research and academic background, is poised to lead one of the university’s pivotal educational arms.

According to Lahore University of Management Sciences, Dr. Tamim brings an international academic portfolio to the role, having earned her PhD from the University of Cambridge, UK, and contributing substantially to educational research and policy. Her work addresses critical societal challenges such as language barriers, gender inequality, and accessibility in education.

Since joining SOE as an Associate Professor in 2018, Dr. Tamim has been a central figure in the school’s development. As Director Academics, her leadership has been key to defining the school’s strategic direction. Dr. Tamim has managed significant research projects with global organizations and has enhanced the quality of professional education through her training programs at various educational institutions.
