Lahore, Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) witnessed a day filled with merriment and community bonding on March 8th, 2024, as the Office of Human Resources hosted an extravagant HR Carnival on the university’s Hockey Ground. Faculty, staff, students, and their families gathered to engage in a variety of activities, enjoying an event designed to bring joy and foster connections within the LUMS community.

According to Lahore University of Management Sciences, the event kicked off with an invigorating drum circle by Drum Circle Pakistan, orchestrated by Haider Jamil. Participants from different age groups enthusiastically collaborated to produce harmonious rhythms that set a lively backdrop for the carnival. The Kids Corner was a hub of excitement, featuring jumping castles, merry-go-rounds, train rides, magic shows, and puppet performances that provided non-stop entertainment for the younger guests.

Not just for kids, the carnival offered a gaming zone for the grown-ups, complete with snooker, foosball, Xbox games, and an obstacle fun race, bringing out the competitive spirit in the university’s employees. The evening culminated with a captivating concert by the popular music ensemble, Khumariyaan, whose dynamic performance had everyone on their feet, creating a collective experience of dance and celebration.

The carnival also featured a variety of food stalls serving a delicious selection of eats, ensuring there were ample gastronomic pleasures to complement the festive atmosphere.
