KSBL Hosts National Business Competition SiMERGE 2024

Karachi, The Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL) recently hosted SiMERGE 2024, a national business competition that saw participation from 134 students hailing from 29 universities across Pakistan. The event, managed by KSBL students, provided a platform for budding business leaders to engage in case studies, simulations, panel discussions, and workshops, culminating in a competition that challenged their strategic thinking, teamwork, and decision-making skills.

According to Karachi School of Business and Leadership, the competition began with a case study round, where students tackled complex business problems in teams, testing their analytical and collaborative capabilities. The following days included simulation challenges overseen by Dr. Saima Hussain and Mr. Tahir Jawaid, KSBL Executive in Residence, offering a hands-on experience in managing real-world business scenarios. A panel of leading professionals discussed the entrepreneurship landscape in Pakistan and the implications of artificial intelligence in business, complemented by a workshop on media planning. The event concluded with gamified challenges and a wellness exhibition, highlighting the importance of balancing physical and mental health with professional development.

The team from Bahria University emerged as the winners of SiMERGE 2024, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving skills and strategic insight.
