Jinnah Blood Donors Society to Launch Online Blood Grouping Service in Pakistan

Karachi, In an innovative step towards enhancing healthcare accessibility in Pakistan, the Jinnah Blood Donors Society announced the initiation of an online blood grouping service, a first of its kind in the country. This new service aims to facilitate the process of blood donation and ensure the timely availability of blood for those in need. The society plans to extend its humanitarian efforts by introducing a program for the dignified burial of unclaimed bodies.

According to The Indus Hospital, the announcement came during a meeting held at the society’s office, led by its president, Syed Zahid Hussain. The initiative will allow society representatives to visit homes upon request and conduct blood grouping for all household members. This process not only promises to streamline the blood donation system but also ensures that aid reaches the needy more efficiently.

During the meeting, attended by all officials of the society, President Hussain emphasized the organization’s commitment to continuing its work on human welfare projects. He highlighted the society’s forthcoming plan to start burying bodies of unknown heirs, underscoring the society’s dedication to serving humanity in various capacities.
