IUB and NAB Host Seminar for Anti-Corruption Awareness Week

Bahawalpur, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB), in collaboration with the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), has organized an awareness seminar as part of the International Anti-Corruption Week. This joint initiative aims to promote awareness and educate students on anti-corruption efforts.

According to Islamia University of Bahawalpur, the IUB Literary Society has been actively involved in organizing various competitions in educational institutions. These include speech, essay writing, poetry, and drama contests, designed to engage students in meaningful discourse about corruption.

At the university level, the IUB Literary Society held a poetry and essay writing competition, witnessing participation from students across different departments. The event showcased speeches presented by students, reflecting their perspectives and insights on the issue of corruption.

The seminar was enriched by the presence of Professor Dr. Abdul Rauf, the Director of Students Affairs at IUB, who served as the focal person for the event. He expressed encouragement and admiration for the students’ enthusiasm and commitment to the cause. Dr. Muhammad Adnan Bukhari, the Additional Director of Students Affairs, graced the event as the guest of honor, adding to the significance of the occasion.

The winning participants of these competitions at IUB will have the opportunity to advance to the final competition, organized by NAB Multan. This initiative represents a crucial step in fostering a culture of integrity and transparency among the youth and future leaders of Pakistan.
