Bahawalpur, June 26, 2023 (PPI-OT): Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and Association for Biorisk Management (ABM) organized in collaboration with Health Security Partners two five days’ trainings on enhancing bacteriology and virology laboratories capabilities to strengthen the Biorisk mitigation plan.
These trainings are continuation of MOU signed between IUB and ABM to implement the Biosafety and Biosecurity in IUB. The opening session was presided by Worthy Dean FV and AS Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Mansoor. He emphasized on the implementation of rigorous and continuous process of biorisk assessment and mitigation strategies for safe laboratory practices in biological labs. This training will be continued for next four days to train faculty members, laboratory staff and Research scholars of FV and AS.
