Islamabad Workshop Enhances Academic Formatting Skills for MS Students


Islamabad, The Department of Teacher Education at the International Islamic University Islamabad’s Female Campus hosted a workshop entitled “Precision in Print: A Workshop on Formatting Mastery,” aimed at enhancing MS students’ proficiency in academic formatting. The session was designed to give students practical experience and address common challenges encountered in formatting research proposals and assignments.



According to International Islamic University Islamabad, Dr. Saima Kanwal, Assistant Director in the Office of the Rector IIUI, spearheaded the workshop, imparting crucial insights into the role of formatting in academic writing. Participants were engaged in hands-on activities to practice implementing formatting rules, with a focus on styles and citation techniques relevant to their scholarly work. The event served as an interactive forum for students to directly address and resolve queries related to formatting challenges.



The workshop underscored the importance of rigorous formatting standards in academic writing, ultimately empowering the students to present their work with enhanced professionalism and accuracy. Attendees left the workshop with a clear understanding of academic standards and a strengthened skill set in formatting mastery.
