Islamabad, The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) will kick off its Sports Gala 2023 at the female campus on Wednesday, November 15th. The gala is a week-long event that offers female students an array of opportunities to exhibit their sports talents.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Dr. Sumayya Chughtai, Incharge of the Female Campus, chaired a meeting to review preparations for the gala. Students Advisor Dr. Sadia Saleem, her team, and other organizing officials attended the meeting, discussing crucial arrangements such as the grand opening, faculty participation, focal person networking, and event publicity. The chair emphasized the importance of providing maximum opportunities for female students to demonstrate their sports skills during the event.

The meeting was informed that faculties have been assigned specific colors, and dedicated shirts have been distributed to students. Organized by the Directorate of Students’ Affairs, the Sports Gala will feature competitions in various sports, including tug of war, fun games, indoor games, E-gaming, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, cricket, football, chess, and athletics. Students have undergone trials in their respective faculties and are ready to compete and showcase their talents.

The Sports Gala at IIUI’s female campus is anticipated to be a vibrant display of sportsmanship and talent, engaging thousands of students from 11 faculties of the university.
