ICRAELLL Conference Proceedings-Day 1 

Wah Cantt, October 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):Department of English, University of Wah inaugurated Day-1 of 1st International Conference on Recent Advances in English Language, Literature and Linguistics on 18 October 2021. The Conference aimed at promoting interdisciplinary research-oriented debates amongst top-notch International as well as local community consisting of scholars, researchers, and practitioners. Dr. Rasib Mehmood, Chairperson, Department of English welcomed audience, both physical and virtual, on behalf of UW and accentuated VC’s vision of making UW a research-intensive University.

Prof. Dr. Jameel-un-Nabi, Vice Chancellor, UW graced the inaugural ceremony as Chief Guest. In his introductory speech, he appreciated the efforts of Department of English in taking the lead and leaving no stone unturned to make the event a successful one. The opening session included two keynote speeches by eminent foreign professors i.e. Dr. Hanita Hassan from Malaysia; Dr. Iren Boyarkina from University of Rome La Sapienza, Italy and one keynote speech from local speaker i.e. Dr. Nailah Riaz from University of Faisalabad.

The worthy Vice Chancellor appreciated the keynote speech of Dr. Hanita Hassan and stressed on the idea that government should include Education sector to restore tourism in Pakistan after COVID’19 pandemic. Dr. Nailah Riaz also endorsed the perception that tourism can play a vital role in awakening the ecological perception of individuals. The parallel sessions at different venues, throughout the day, included a number of local and foreign speakers along with a large number of audience who attended the whole event enthusiastically.

Among them were Dr. Michal B. Paradowski from University of Warsaw, Poland; Dr. Fabio Luppi from Roma Tre University, Italy and Dr. Azadeh Mehrpouyan from Velayat University, Iranshahr, Iran. The Conference also included refreshment and lunch breaks for guests and participants. The Vice Chancellor had a photo session with speakers and guest participants. Later on, he had a meeting with the literary delegate from University of Faisalabad. The Day-1 of ICRAELLL expressed keen dedication and commitment on part of organizing committee.
