Lahore, April 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said that at the behest of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz, I was brutally tortured, my arm was broken by the violence, I was sitting in the back seat but PML-N thugs came there and tortured me. Ch Parvez Elahi said that Hamza Shahbaz targeted me and attacked me as planned. Answering questions from the media, he said which court should I go to? At their request, the courts are open even at night. There is no court for the oppressed. I leave my case to Allah Almighty.
Ch Parvez Elahi said that as Speaker I have always given equal opportunity to PML-N members in the Assembly, issued production orders for PML-N jailed leaders, what did these people do to me today is before the whole nation. He said that PML-N members Sohail Shaukat Butt and Malik Waheed attacked me at the orders of Hamza Shahbaz. These thugs have brought me from their house. I am still the speaker. The thugs who came to do so kept chanting slogans of Hamza! Hamza! Meanwhile, the Speaker Punjab Assembly Media Coordinator Iqbal Chaudhry was also severely tortured. He fell down from the dice while trying to save Ch Parvez Elahi.
