Department of English Organized a Seminar on “Life Narratives” 

Islamabad, November 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):Department of English organized its first Professional Development Seminar on November 17th, 2021. Ms. Ayesha Zahoor, Senior Lecturer Department of English served the occasion as a guest speaker. Ms. Ayesha Zahoor is a PhD scholar at NUML, Islamabad campus and has a good teaching experience.

The seminar was organized for the purpose to enlighten the participants, faculty members, with the different concepts and approaches related to different genres in literature. She highlighted the importance of “Life Narratives” as an emerging genre and briefly discussed the related literature. In contemporary times, Life Narratives has garnered a lot of theoretical attention from diverse and neighbouring domain of studies. The session, lasted for an hour and a half, followed by scholastic discussion from participants’ end in questions/answers mode.
