Karachi, Allama Bilal Saleem Qadri, a prominent figure, emphasized the need for fair and transparent general elections as the solution to Pakistan’s current challenges. In a statement to media representatives at Qadri House, he asserted that timely elections are crucial for reducing the country’s problems and establishing a democratic government.

According to Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Qadri highlighted the widespread chaos and concern among all segments of society, from the capitalists to the common man, due to the current political situation. He criticized the legacy of previous governments, noting that each new administration inherits the burden of loans with no comprehensive policy to effectively manage the country’s finances and repay debts. He observed that the rulers seem to be more focused on passing time rather than solving pressing issues.

Qadri remarked on the changing times and the increased awareness among the populace. He stressed that the promises made during election campaigns must now be fulfilled. Amidst rumors and speculation about delaying the elections, he called on the Election Commission to take action against those spreading such misinformation, as it contributes to frustration among the people.

Highlighting the role of the youth, Qadri urged educated young individuals to step forward and participate actively in the electoral process. He underscored that every Pakistani citizen and political party has the right to engage in the democratic process. He dismissed the notion of false patriotism, asserting that the will of the people, expressed through their vote, is the true determinant of who is fit to serve the nation.
