Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, delivered a forceful address in the National Assembly, asserting Pakistan’s innocence in the recent tragic incidents in Occupied Kashmir. In his address, he rebutted India’s accusations directed at Pakistan, emphasizing that terrorism is a shared enemy and defending Pakistan’s position on the global stage.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari articulated Pakistan’s stance that the country neither supports nor exports terrorism, but rather, is a victim of it. He criticized India’s actions in Kashmir, labeling them as state terrorism and highlighting the suffering of the Kashmiri people. “Terrorism cannot be defeated by tanks alone,” he stated, proposing that justice and hope are essential in combating terrorism.
The Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party addressed the Indian government’s accusations, urging for accountability and impartial investigation. He also called into question India’s suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, describing it as a politicization of a shared natural resource and a crime against humanity.
Bilawal implored for unity among Pakistan’s citizens, encouraging them to stand resilient against external pressures. He called for peace through dialogue and cooperation rather than confrontation, urging India to choose dialogue over destruction. His address concluded with a reminder of the shared heritage of the Indus Valley Civilisation, advocating for a peaceful resolution to longstanding conflicts.
