Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Advocates Progressive Agenda in Chiniot Rally

Chiniot, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), addressed a large public gathering in Chiniot, outlining the party’s comprehensive agenda for societal and economic reforms. He emphasized the PPP’s commitment to serving the people, contrasting its policies with the politics of division and vendetta practiced by traditional politicians.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Chairman Zardari recalled his previous visits to the region and thanked the people for their consistent support. He highlighted the country’s current challenges, including unprecedented price hikes, unemployment, and poverty, describing it as a historic economic crisis. Zardari criticized the societal crisis created by traditional politicians through divisive and hateful politics, reiterating the PPP’s commitment to ending this style of politics.

Chairman Zardari outlined a 10-point economic agreement, drawing inspiration from Shaheed Quaid-e-Awam and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. This agreement includes doubling wages within five years, providing 300 units of free electricity to deserving individuals, and constructing three million houses nationwide, including in Chiniot, with ownership rights for women. He also proposed expanding the Benazir Income Support Programme and introducing the Benazir Kissan Card and Benazir Mazdoor Card to support farmers and laborers.

Chairman Zardari stressed the party’s commitment to healthcare, vowing to establish a free healthcare institution in Chiniot within six months of coming to power. He criticized his political opponents for their lack of progress in health infrastructure and their politics of revenge. Zardari urged the people to choose the PPP in the upcoming elections on February 8, to establish a government that truly represents the farmers, laborers, youth, and the downtrodden.

The rally also focused on empowering the youth through the proposed Benazir Youth Card, which would provide financial assistance and skills development. Chairman Zardari expressed his desire to be remembered for providing employment, following in the footsteps of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto.

The event featured PPP candidates from Chiniot, including Allahyar Sipra, Sohail Zafar, Syed Hassan Murtaza, Syed Inayat Ali Shah, and Syed Kaleem Ali Ameer. Chairman Zardari concluded by emphasizing that the PPP’s symbol, the arrow, represents the legacy of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and symbolizes the party’s commitment to the people of Pakistan.
