Bahawalpur, February 18, 2023 (PPI-OT):Prime Minister Youth Program Higher Education Commission, Pakistan (HEC) Talent Hunt Youth Sports League Volleyball trials started in Bahawalpur under the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Higher Education Commission, and Pakistan has started talent hunt youth sports league volleyball trials. In this regard, two-day trials of Punjab region were organized in Islamia University, Bahawalpur. These trials organized under the Prime Minister Youth Program will be held at 25 locations across the country in which young male and female students between the ages of 15 and 25 will participate. The objective of Talent Hunt Youth Sports League is to find the best athletes from across the country and give them opportunities to represent Pakistan in the field of sports.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan and Advisor to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Shaza Fatima Khawaja has initiated several projects for the welfare of the youth, in which women are being provided equal opportunities with men so that women can compete with men in every field of life including sports. So that they can play their role in the development of the country. Held at Islamia University of Punjab region Dean Faculty of Law Professor Dr. Aftab Hussain Gilani participated in the opening ceremony of the trials as the special guest while Mian Shahid Iqbal was the special guest of the closing ceremony of the trials. These trials included the brand ambassador of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, Mohammad Bakhsh Javed, the coach of the volleyball team of the Higher Education Commission, Wasif Mahmood, and the officials of the Pakistan Volleyball Association in Bahawalpur.
There will be supervised training and an opportunity to play in the provincial league. After the completion of this stage, the players who show the best performance will be part of the National League from their respective province. Here it is very important that the talent hunt in the Youth Sports League will include trials, coaching camps, the best performances in the Provincial and National Leagues.
