Asifa Bhutto Zardari Advocates for Housing and Prosperity in Lahore Address

Lahore, Bibi Asifa Bhutto Zardari, daughter of Shaheed Ms. Benazir Bhutto, addressed a gathering of party workers and Clifton Committee members in Arab Society, Bihar Colony, Kot Lakhpat, Lahore. In her speech, she emphasized the commitment of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) to provide housing and increase prosperity among the people of Lahore.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Zardari focused on the upcoming February 8th election, urging the people of Lahore to vote for the PPP to ensure the victory of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. She promised that if elected, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would build 30 lakh houses for the people, continuing the legacy of PPP founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Shaheed. She highlighted the party’s history of providing houses to the poor, contrasting it with other political parties’ policies.

Zardari also pledged that a PPP government would double the salaries of employees and bring prosperity to farmers, laborers, and youth. She emphasized the expansion of the Benazir Income Support Program to empower women, reflecting the party’s commitment to gender equality and social welfare.

Further, Zardari mentioned the PPP’s dedication to public health, citing the free treatment facilities for children through NICVD as a key part of the party’s manifesto. This commitment aligns with the PPP’s long-standing focus on healthcare accessibility.
