Aseefa Bhutto Zardari Rallies Support for PPP in Lahore

Lahore, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, the daughter of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, addressed party workers and members of the Clifton Committee in Lahore, emphasizing the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) commitment to housing, employee welfare, and healthcare. She rallied support for the PPP in the upcoming elections, slated for February 8th, promising significant reforms and development under the party’s leadership.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari focused on the PPP’s housing initiative, promising that if elected, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would construct three million houses for the people, following in the footsteps of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. She contrasted PPP’s policies with other political parties, asserting that the PPP is the only party that provides housing to the poor.

Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also promised that, upon being elected as Prime Minister, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would double the salaries of employees within five years. She emphasized the party’s commitment to bringing prosperity to farmers, laborers, and the youth, and expanding the Benazir Income Support Program for empowering women and ensuring their financial independence.

Highlighting the PPP’s healthcare agenda, she mentioned that free public healthcare and facilities for children through NICVD across Pakistan are integral parts of the party’s manifesto. She called on the people of Lahore to exercise their right to vote for the country’s development and progress.

Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also spoke about the PPP’s empathy for the people’s problems, referencing the party’s response during the historic floods. She praised Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for being the only leader to stand with the people during these challenging times and called for unity to achieve national prosperity and progress.

The event was attended by key PPP members including Aslam Gill, Samina Khalid Ghurkhi, Faisal Mir, Misbah ur Rehman, Zulfikar Ali Badr, Sehar Kamran, Nargis Faiz Malik, and others, demonstrating the party’s solidarity and support base in Lahore.
