He described Quaid-e-Azam as a democrat and an enlightened leader who championed religious freedom.
Zardari asserted that the PPP will continue to defend freedom of expression, political, and religious freedom in Pakistan, adhering to the foundations laid by Quaid-e-Azam. He also addressed concerns over certain ideologies attempting to impose their beliefs on society under the guise of religion, asserting that such actions are in direct opposition to Quaid-e-Azam’s philosophy and must not be allowed under any circumstances.
