Aseefa Bhutto Zardari Advocates for Women’s Rights and PPP Initiatives in Karachi Convention

Karachi, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, addressing a large gathering at the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) women workers’ convention in PS-105, Chanesar Goth, emphasized the party’s commitment to women’s rights and social welfare initiatives. She recalled the efforts of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto and President Asif Ali Zardari in advancing these causes.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari highlighted the Benazir Income Support Programme’s impact on women’s independence and the PPP’s dedication to health and quality healthcare for all. She detailed the party’s efforts in serving the underprivileged, mentioning the NICVD and SIUT as prime examples of their commitment. Additionally, she spoke about the introduction of the Pink Bus Service to facilitate women’s travel and the party’s plans to regularize temporary housing for the poor. Furthermore, the PPP aims to provide 300 units of electricity free of cost to deserving citizens.

Aseefa Bhutto Zardari urged the public to support Chairman PPP, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, in the upcoming elections to enable him to serve the nation better. She expressed confidence in changing the nation’s fate with the people’s support, anticipating a triumph for the PPP on February 8.

The convention in Chanesar Goth saw significant participation from women workers, underscoring the party’s appeal among female voters. Notable PPP members, including PS-105 candidate Saeed Ghani, NA-237 candidate Asad Alam Niazi, and other leaders like Shahida Rehmani, Sadia Javed, and Sharmila Farooqi, were present at the event, demonstrating the party’s united front ahead of the elections.
