Islamabad, June 24, 2022 (PPI-OT):Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, H.E. Mohammed Omar Ahmad Al Marhoon, has successfully completed his PhD in Islamic Studies (Usuluddin) from International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI). His specialization is in Aqeedah and Philosophy. Professor Dr. Ayaz Afsar, Vice President Academics awarded degree to the honourable Ambassador and congratulated him on successful completion of his PhD.
Honourable Ambassador thanked the Vice President, IIUI Faculty and the university management saying that his period of study at the university was indeed a journey of learning, exposure and broadening the knowledge in the field of Islamic Studies. He also said that IIUI is the unique seat of learning and it is rightly addressing the contemporary needs of Muslim societies.
