National Women’s T20 Tournament Set to Begin in Faisalabad with Five Teams Competing

Lahore: The National Women's T20 Tournament 2026-27 is scheduled to begin on Saturday, 10 October, in Faisalabad, featuring five teams competing for a prize pool exceeding PKR three million. The tournament will open with matches between Invincibles and Challengers at Bohranwali Ground and Conquerors versus Stars at Jawad Club Ground, both commencing at 10 a.m.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the defending champions Stars will be captained by Tuba Hassan, while Gull Feroza will lead last year's runners-up, Invincibles. The Challengers will have Ayesha Zafar as captain, and Muneeba Ali will head Conquerors. Strikers, led by Pakistan women's team captain Fatima Sana, will play their first match against Challengers on Sunday, 11 October.

A total of 75 players will participate, with each team comprising a 15-member squad, including six players from the Pakistan U19 squad. The tournament's structure involves a 21-match double-league format, with each team playing at least eight matches before the top two advance to the final on 25 October at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad. The final will be live-streamed on Tapmad and Tamasha in Pakistan.
