CHITRAL: Teacher's Day was marked at the University of Chitral with a special program organized by the Department of Education. The event, held in the Main Hall, was attended by faculty members, students, and university officials, highlighting the essential role of educators in shaping society.
According to University of Chitral, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah, served as the chief guest and addressed the gathering. During his speech, he emphasized the noble status of teachers, drawing attention to their responsibility in imparting knowledge and fostering character among students. He noted that the teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) continue to serve as a guiding light for humanity. Prof. Dr. Hazir Ullah also commended the Department of Education and its head, Dr. Attiq Tariq, for organizing the event and providing a platform to celebrate the contributions of educators.
As part of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were awarded to teachers in recognition of their service and impact on education. The gesture was warmly received by attendees.
