Faisalabad: The stage is set for an exciting conclusion to the PCB Faisalabad Commissioner Super Eight Schools Cup as La Salle High School and Divisional Model College (DMC) prepare to face off in the final match. The event will take place at the Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on Saturday.
The cricketing contest is scheduled to begin with the first ball at 9:30 a.m., following the toss at 9:00 a.m. Spectators can follow the action live on PTV National and Fast Sports, with additional streaming available via Tapmad in Pakistan and the PCB YouTube Channel for audiences abroad.
In addition to the on-field competition, attendees will be treated to a musical concert by singer Aima Baig after the match. Fans can enjoy free entry to the Fazal Mahmood and Javed Miandad enclosures.
The tournament offers substantial prizes, with the champion team set to receive PKR 1 million. The runners-up will earn PKR 500,000. Individual accolades include PKR 50,000 for the best batter, bowler, and wicket-keeper, while the player of the final will receive PKR 25,000. The player of the tournament will secure PKR 75,000.
La Salle High School has demonstrated dominance by remaining unbeaten through their seven league-stage games. Meanwhile, DMC reached the final after recovering from two losses in their five matches during the round-robin stage.
This highly anticipated match will conclude a tournament that began with eight teams, including International School, The Arqam School, TNF Akhuwat, and others, competing for the coveted title.
