Islamabad: The Tajdar-e-Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Conference took place at Zam Zam Hall, where prominent religious figures gathered under the banner of Paigham-e-Khatm-e-Nabuwwat Hyderabad. The event saw Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, President of Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan and Milli Yakjehti Council, addressing the audience on the need to protect Islamic beliefs and laws.
Dr. Sahibzada emphasized the unity of the Muslim community in upholding the belief in the Finality of Prophethood and the laws safeguarding the Prophet’s sanctity. He addressed perceived threats to these principles through judicial means and highlighted the community’s role in defending them.
He discussed the challenges posed by attempts to introduce laws under the guise of minority rights, which could weaken existing protections. Due to resistance from religious scholars, such efforts were retracted by the government.
Drawing from Islamic history, Dr. Sahibzada referenced past defenses of these beliefs, noting efforts by historical figures to preserve Islamic identity. He also called for vigilance against forces aiming to undermine Pakistan’s Islamic character and expressed concern over events in Muridke.
He announced upcoming Sunni conferences aimed at fostering unity and guiding the younger generation towards core Islamic values. The mission of Paigham-e-Khatm-e-Nabuwwat, he stated, is to unite the Ummah and promote moral stability.
The conference also featured speeches from various religious leaders, including Allama Ghulam Mustafa Shakir and Allama Syed Aqeel Anjum Qadri, who echoed the call for unity and vigilance.
