Lakki Marwat: In the General Elections of 2024, the Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from NA-41, Lakki Marwat, was elected with only 23 percent support from the registered voters in the constituency. The election saw 117,599 votes going to the winning candidate, which accounted for 47 percent of the 249,932 total ballots cast.
According to the Final Consolidated Result (Form-49) for the constituency, voter turnout was recorded at 48 percent. Despite securing the most votes, the elected MNA faced a significant lack of support from those who participated in the election on February 8, 2024. Half of the voters, numbering 125,199, chose other candidates, indicating a division in voter preference.
The runner-up in the election garnered 28 percent of the votes, while the third-place candidate received 19 percent. Other candidates collectively obtained four percent of the vote share. Additionally, 7,134 ballots, representing three percent of the total, were invalidated and did not contribute to any candidate’s tally.
