Sargodha: The University of Sargodha is gearing up to host “Research Arena 2025,” a five-day academic event starting December 15. This comprehensive gathering will include approximately 70 scholarly activities, drawing participants from Pakistan and abroad.
The event will encompass a range of academic and creative engagements, featuring 10 international and national conferences, 5 symposiums, 9 seminars, and 4 webinars. Additionally, the program includes 17 exhibitions, 6 workshops, 5 panel discussions, and 4 community engagements. There will also be 3 outreach visits, a colloquium, and various alumni interactions.
“Research Arena 2025” aims to highlight quality research, encourage interdisciplinary dialogue, and bridge the gap between academia, society, and industry. Scholars, industry professionals, policymakers, and innovators will converge at this event, establishing it as a hub for intellectual exchange.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Qaisar Abbas emphasized the significance of Research Arena 2025, stating that it reflects the university’s dedication to transforming the research landscape in Pakistan. He noted that the inaugural event set a precedent, and the upcoming edition will build on that foundation, enhancing the university’s role in fostering scholarly innovation.
Director of the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization, Prof. Dr. Ahmad Reza Bilal, described the event as a platform that goes beyond traditional academic presentations. He highlighted its potential to empower researchers, engage with local communities, and strengthen the links between academia and industry, which are vital for sustainable development.
